With the upgrades to the 2024 Hyundai Sonata, $26,000-$27,000 is a good estimated price range for this upcoming sedan at Glassman Hyundai. Hyundai has been very sparing in their press releases about the 2024 Sonata, but with preproduction pics shown, and a brand new lightbar visible on the grille, it looks like Hyundai is really up to something wonderful on their new Hyundai Sonata. For now, here’s what we know about the 2024 Sonata’s new design and features. Even just this brief look should make you want to follow this one’s release.

Interior

The 2024 Hyundai Sonata looks to come with glossier, higher-quality interior materials. Just a quick peek at both huge interior screen displays shows a more refined look to the technology inside the Sonata. Its steering wheel looks to be wrapped with leather and showcases a three-spoke design with even more buttons on tap for your convenience. We expect to see dynamic voice recognition that’s become even better at obeying your commands. The Sonata’s seating contours closely to the shape of the human body and looks like it provides full lumber support. You’ll also see a thicker seat design on the latest Sonata. Many 2024 Hyundai Sonata review impressions were that the interior would get a lot more comfortable in 2024. That’s great news for our Glassman Hyundai customers.

Exterior

The Sonata’s first exterior pictures show a completely different grille, and that’s a very positive thing. A light bar look is across the top of the model, and LED headlamps sit below that bar. A smaller front grille area means a less cluttered front end and one that keeps up with the times much better than last year’s Sonata. It’s a positive change of direction for a model that has always done well at delivering on style and sportiness. Mechanical

The biggest news for the Sonata’s transformation is on a single announced mechanical feature. The latest Sonata will get an all-wheel drive in 2024, and that’s welcome news to people who’ve always known this sedan could use extra handling technology for rocky roads. Hyundai finally gives its Sonata the mechanical design it deserves. We’ll update mechanical features as Hyundai shares more.

Powertrain

An N Line Sonata is expected to provide 290 horsepower again in 2024. Turbocharged performance has always been a part of the Sonata’s history, but the N Line is a highlight. A hybrid model will also be added and deliver 192 total horsepower. It’s still early in the Sonata’s gradual unveiling. You never know when Hyundai is going to surprise the world with another powertrain. For now, though, these are the powertrains that are safe to expect on the Sonata. Safety

Hyundai’s commitment to customers is always visible in its driver-assist design. As advanced as the Sonata looks, you can bet that Hyundai is going to protect your investment and the people you love with features like Highway Driving Assist II, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert, and Automatic Emergency Braking for a variety of challenging situations. The official safety features haven’t been announced, but SmartSense technology is always a given. It’s possible that Hyundai will upgrade blind spot monitoring and defensive steering systems for their 2024 Sonata. We’ll announce official driver-assist and practical safety features when Hyundai shares them with the world. For now, we can just promise that the Sonata will continue its longstanding tradition of keeping you and your loved ones safe.
